Das Projekt AlchemiSSts wird die Anwendbarkeit des Safe by Design (SSbD)-Rahmens demonstrieren, mit dem Ziel, sicherere und nachhaltigere Alternativen f\u00fcr Tenside, Weichmacher und Flammschutzmittel zu entwickeln und umzusetzen, die aufgrund ihrer Pr\u00e4senz in Alltagsprodukten ein hohes Risiko f\u00fcr die menschliche Gesundheit und die Umwelt darstellen und daher als besonders besorgniserregende Stoffe (SVHC) gelten.<\/p>\n

Zu diesem Zweck werden bis zu sieben Fallstudien vorgeschlagen, an denen relevante Akteure der Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette beteiligt sind, die als Konzeptnachweis dienen sollen, um den SSbD-Rahmen in seinen verschiedenen f\u00fcnf Schritten zu testen. Das \u00fcbergeordnete Ziel des Projekts wird durch die Verwirklichung spezifischer Ziele erreicht, wie der Entwicklung der Alternativstoffe selbst, der Sammlung robuster und zuverl\u00e4ssiger Nachweise f\u00fcr den Konzeptnachweis des SSbD-Rahmens sowie der Entwicklung einer Zertifizierungsmethodik, die die Umsetzung des SSbD-Konzepts im industriellen Netzwerk f\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n

Ein weiterer Schl\u00fcsselbereich des AlchemiSSts-Projekts basiert auf der Implementierung integrierter Ans\u00e4tze und Werkzeuge zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Sicherheits-, Nachhaltigkeits- und Sozialbewertungsaspekte, die auf FAIR-Daten und interoperablen Modellen basieren. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden robuste Daten zu Nachhaltigkeitsindikatoren sowie Informationen zur Bewertung der Auswirkungen der Projektergebnisse auf ein Set von Null-Emission-Zielen f\u00fcr jeden Fall geliefert. The project aims to replace additives currently required in the formulation of rubber soles (NR, SBR) that are candidates for classification as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) under European regulations (REACH).<\/p>\n

Several additives commonly used in the elastomeric bases that make up footwear soles\u2014such as vulcanizing agents, stabilizers, and antioxidants\u2014are included to achieve materials with suitable performance properties (elasticity, hardness, impact resistance) for their use in the sector. Although some of these additives have been used for decades, in recent years high toxicity levels have been identified. Both the industry and regulatory bodies need to phase out their use by developing new formulations free of toxic additives while still ensuring the required performance of footwear products. In addition, these new additives must remain economically viable, as the sector cannot tolerate a significant increase in costs. Another key requirement is that production times (for example, during vulcanization) do not increase, since longer processing times would reduce productivity and lead to higher costs, energy consumption, and associated emissions.<\/p>\n

Therefore, this project seeks to develop new rubber (elastomer) sole formulations with equal or superior performance to those currently produced, free of highly toxic additives, and to demonstrate that they are economically viable, cost-neutral, and contribute to environmental objectives.<\/p>\n

Das Projekt umfasst die Implementierung neuer Technologien zur \u00dcberwachung der Kautschukmischprozesse, um die Mischer digital zu steuern, eine h\u00f6here Produktionsleistung zu erreichen und gleichzeitig Abf\u00e4lle und indirekte Kosten deutlich zu reduzieren.<\/p>\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird das K\u00fchlsystem dieser Anlagen durch ein moderneres und effizienteres System ersetzt, was es uns erm\u00f6glicht, den Wasserverbrauch zu senken. Infolgedessen werden wir in der Lage sein, Vordispersionen f\u00fcr die Schuhbranche mit geringerem \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdruck und wettbewerbsf\u00e4higeren Preisen herzustellen, wodurch wir eine vorteilhafte Marktposition erreichen.<\/p>\n

Das Projekt DOZE<\/strong> geht auf die Bed\u00fcrfnisse des Luft- und Raumfahrtsektors ein, indem es neue Verbund-Aerostrukturen entwickelt, die nicht nur leicht sind, sondern auch neue Funktionalit\u00e4ten (z.\u202fB. W\u00e4rmemanagement) integrieren und hinsichtlich Materialien und Prozessen besonders nachhaltig sind. Durch die Integration funktionaler Materialien, nachhaltiger Fertigungstechnologien und fortschrittlicher Simulationswerkzeuge zielt das Projekt darauf ab, zentrale Herausforderungen im Zuge des \u00dcbergangs zu emissionsfreien Flugzeugen zu bew\u00e4ltigen. Dabei werden Grundlagen f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der n\u00e4chsten Generation von Aerostrukturen geschaffen und ein wesentlicher Beitrag zu den \u00fcbergeordneten Nachhaltigkeits- und Effizienzzielen im Luftverkehr geleistet. Dar\u00fcber hinaus soll die f\u00fchrende Rolle Spaniens bei der Entwicklung fortschrittlicher Technologien f\u00fcr den Luft- und Raumfahrtsektor gest\u00e4rkt werden.<\/p>\n

In diesem Zusammenhang tr\u00e4gt DOZE zur Mission 7<\/strong> der Ausschreibung \u201eMisiones Ciencia e Innovaci\u00f3n 2024\u201c<\/strong> bei, die sich auf die \u201eNachhaltigkeit und Effizienz des Luftverkehrs\u201c konzentriert \u2013 insbesondere durch die Entwicklung und Herstellung neuer multifunktionaler Aerostrukturen, die durch den Einsatz neuer Materialien und fortschrittlicher Herstellungsverfahren das Gewicht von Flugzeugen reduzieren. Gleichzeitig stellt DOZE den Beginn einer langfristigen Strategie dar, um die Fertigungsprozesse f\u00fcr multimaterialbasierte Aerostrukturen in den vier beteiligten Unternehmen des Konsortiums zu transformieren. Das Projekt umfasst die Implementierung neuer Technologien zur \u00dcberwachung der Kautschukmischprozesse, um eine digitale Steuerung der Mischanlagen zu erm\u00f6glichen. Dadurch wird eine h\u00f6here Produktionsleistung bei gleichzeitiger signifikanter Reduzierung von Abf\u00e4llen und indirekten Kosten erreicht. Zudem wird das K\u00fchlsystem dieser Anlagen durch ein moderneres und effizienteres ersetzt, was zu einer Reduzierung des Wasserverbrauchs f\u00fchrt. Als Ergebnis werden wir in der Lage sein, vordispergierte Mischungen f\u00fcr den Schuhsektor mit geringerem Umwelteinfluss und wettbewerbsf\u00e4higeren Preisen herzustellen und damit eine vorteilhafte Marktposition einzunehmen.<\/p>\n
