Optimizing Footwear Performance

We develop polymer-bound dispersions to improve processability and the final properties of compounds used in the manufacture of rubber outsoles (NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, EVA, etc.).

They are incorporated during the mixing stage of compounds for sports, casual, safety, and industrial outsoles, providing uniformity and performance.

How it works for you

  • Improved dispersion and homogeneity: Prevents defects such as hard spots, bubbles, or incomplete vulcanization in the outsoles. Ensures a uniform finish and high-quality appearance.

  • Faster and more stable processing: Reduces mixing time and improves material flow in injection, extrusion, or compression processes.

  • Reproducible quality: Essential for large production runs, where outsoles need consistency in hardness, flexibility, and density.

  • Greater plant safety: Minimizes handling of powders or pure chemicals, reducing occupational risks and improving process hygiene.

  • Sustainability: The Nasika L.E. (Low Emission) line includes recycled binders and natural plasticizers, contributing to footwear with a lower environmental footprint.

Recommended uses

  • Sports outsoles (running, outdoor, trekking): Polymer-bound dispersions ensure homogeneous vulcanization → more wear-resistant outsoles, better grip, and lower risk of failure.
  • Casual/fashion outsoles: Better dispersion → eliminates hard spots or streaks, facilitates pigment incorporation.
  • Safety and industrial outsoles: Polymer-bound dispersions improve chemical and thermal resistance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Children’s footwear outsoles: Use of “nitrosamine-free” polymer-bound dispersions with natural plasticizers → increased safety and comfort.
  • Sustainable/eco-designed outsoles (recycled or eco-friendly): The Nasika L.E. line allows integration of recycled compounds without compromising quality or uniformity of the outsole.
