Most important projects we are working on

AlChemiSSts

Nasika participates in the European project AlChemiSSts to develop safe and sustainable flame retardant additives that replace substances of very high concern (SVHC).

The goal is to replace halogenated compounds, which are highly toxic and polluting, with safe alternatives applicable in rubber and foams. These innovations will be compatible with existing industrial processes.

Efecto Joule

The Joule effect is the increase in temperature in conductive materials when electric current passes through them, caused by the movement of electrons.

Traditionally associated with metals, it can also be applied to materials like rubber by adding graphene. This property enables the development of applications such as heating components, radiant floors, and anti-freezing systems.

Disipación térmica

Rubber, although ideal for its properties, is a thermal insulator, which can reduce efficiency in systems that require heat transfer.

By adding materials such as graphene or graphite nanoplatelets, its thermal conductivity is improved, facilitating heat dissipation and allowing for faster, more efficient, and more uniform vulcanization.
